Student Planner

Homeschool Student Planner

Today we are wrapping up our third week of school. It seems like we just started yesterday but the weeks are flying by. The first few weeks are about getting grounded in our routine and figuring out what still works and what needs to be adapted. We are in a new house this year and the kids are older, so it means time to re-evaluate. Last year we used the Sue Patrick workbox system. While this system is still helpful, my kids need a bit more notice about what is coming up. For whatever reason, knowing there are 6 or 7 boxes today just isn't enough information for them.

Enter the Student Weekly Planning Sheet!

My children must have inherited my love of making lists and checking off the tasks. I don't add a ton of details on their sheet. It's just enough information that they know what they should be doing. The sheet remains on a clipboard in the corner of their desk so I can can check it. The work listed on the page can still be found in their workboxes.

Have a great weekend!
